Personal Interview: The shortlisted candidates will attend a personal interview, before which they will be shortlisted for admission in the MBA course. The candidates will find a personal interview extremely important because IIM Shillong assigns a weightage of 40% to a personal interview in making a final admission offer to a candidate.

The criteria for selection of the IIM Shillong Pl shortlist 2026 comprise CAT 2025 performance that carries 65%, while 35% is attributed to the normalised application rating score, upon which selection of the candidates for the personal interview process would be made. IIM Shillong PI Shortlist 2026: AR Score
The Application Rating (AR) Score is calculated using a candidate’s academic records and work experience. It includes Class 10 marks (A), Class 12 marks (B), graduation score (C) and work experience (D). IIM Shillong adds these components to arrive at the final AR Score used for shortlisting candidates for the personal interview.
