IIM Sambalpur and the Public Library Collaborate On A Student Grooming Program

IIM Sambalpur in association with the Sambalpur Public Library, has initiated a unique student grooming program to foster community-based learning among high school students of Sambalpur municipality. As part of an MoU between IIM Sambalpur and SPL the initiative has been introduced in order to expand education beyond the classroom and promote overall development.

Every Sunday experts and professors at IIM Sambalpur supported by other universities, engage the students interactively in various subjects encompassing AI, IT, psychological well-being and ethical leadership.

So far, around 40 seminars have been conducted on ethics, culture and technology. A certificate distribution ceremony was recently organised at IIM Sambalpur campus to recognise the young learners and mentors.

According to Prof. Mahadeo Jaiswal Director of IIM Sambalpur, this is an inclusive and sustainable learning program aimed at developing ethical and technological leadership among young people for nation-building.
