In India AMBA is considered one of the toughest and most prestigious quality checks for any postgraduate course in management. It is awarded only after rigorous evaluation. This accreditation signifies that the institute imparts high quality teaching with an updated curriculum, a good learning environment and strong career outcomes for students.

In addition IIM Ranchi has also been awarded four Palmes of Excellence in the 2025 Eduniversal Best Business Schools Ranking. Eduniversal ranks more than 1000 business schools in 154 countries based on factors like global reputation, international presence, academic quality and partnerships with other institutions.

The four palmes award is given to schools that have a strong and growing international influence. It is decided by the Eduniversal Scientific Committee and supported by votes from Deans around the world.

IIM Ranchi is in the process of continuously establishing more global linkages and strengthening its international relationships. The institute claims that it is committed to nurturing responsible and future ready leaders. These newer recognitions reflect its growing global reputation and its commitment toward improvement in management education.

In another update on 9 Sept IIMs Kashipur, Raipur, Ranchi and Tiruchirappalli announced the commencement of Joint Admission Process for MBA admission in the ensuing academic year. IIM Raipur will be the coordinator for 2026 JAP and shall conduct the admission process on behalf of all four institutes.
