IIM Ranchi Partners with Keele Business School, UK

IIM Ranchi has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Keele Business School, Keele University UK for fostering academic, research and cultural collaboration in fields of mutual interest. This partnership is an important step in expanding IIM Ranchi’s global presence and aligning its work with international standards of management education and research.

Under the direction of Scott Bambrick who is the director of Keele Business School the Memorandum of Understanding was signed in front of Abhishek Behl who is the senior lecturer and director of top-up programs and Prof. Deepak Kumar Srivastava director of IIM Ranchi. The International Exchange Program Chairperson Aman Kumar, the Manager of International Relations, Tanwee Hargave, Gaurav Marathe, Manish Bansal, Radha Yadav, Priya Premi and other faculty and administrative personnel attended the signing event.

The partnership will enhance academic quality, enhance research production and promote intercultural education. The two colleges will collaborate to provide students and faculty with global exposure alongside academic excellence.

Some of the major fields of the partnership are student exchange programs, faculty exchange programs, collaborative research and publications, development of curriculum on joint academic programs, executive education programs and co-hosting of workshops and conferences. The pact shall run for five years with an option to renew it with mutual consent.

Prof. Srivastava laid stress upon the fact that this alliance will strengthen IIM Ranchi global network while offering professors and students meaningful opportunities in research, teaching and innovation. Behl reiterated that the alliance will open up new opportunities for academic growth, research and knowledge transfer solidifying the close educational ties between India and the UK.
