To fulfill these new requirements, the Indian Institute of Management Raipur has launched an Advanced Certificate Program in General Management. It is a 12-month executive program that aims to enhance strategic thinking, cross-functional capabilities and artificial intelligence-based leadership capabilities.

The program is intended for early to mid-career professionals like managers, senior managers, heads of functions and senior associates who wish to upskill themselves for larger roles. The programme is also applicable to people like entrepreneurs, start-up founders, business owners and consultants who intend to grow more in their businesses, foster innovation and make data-driven decisions.

Prof. Satyasiba Das, who is the Dean of External Relations at IIM Raipur, said that this program is created for a professional who is willing to take on responsibilities greater than what they are currently handling. The program covers general management subjects with topics like AI, Gen AI, analytics and technology to prepare a future leader to face a complex world and grow with businesses.

The program lays emphasis on important subjects like strategy, finance, operations, marketing and human resource management. It also covers new areas like AI, Gen AI, analytics and digital leadership. The mode of teaching is blended with live online classes and video sessions conducted by the IIM Raipur faculty. There are also six masterclasses conducted live with experts on the topic of Gen AI. There is an option for a one-day networking event that is conducted live at the IIM Raipur campus.

Through this program, the participant will be able to acquire knowledge in areas such as cross-functionality, decision-making skills using AI techniques, analytics, strategic capabilities and the ability to lead in uncertain times. The program also offers opportunities for career advancement through the provision of career services and IIMJobs Pro membership.

The participants who successfully finish the program will receive a certificate from IIM Raipur. Additionally, the participants will also receive Executive Alumni membership and the associated benefits for three years.

Program Details

The program will commence on 16th March, 2026 and will continue for a period of 12 months. The program will be online, consisting of live and recorded sessions. The applicants must be a graduate or a diploma holder in any discipline. The fee for this program is INR 1,35,000 plus GST.
