The idea of the common admissions process, the single window application and the assessment system is to have a more uniform, transparent and more efficient process for the admissions for the MBA course.

The JAP 2026 has been made more flexible for applicants to use while ensuring a strict academic and selection criterion. It also provides a streamlined process for all candidate assessments who are part of member institutes.

Once the CAT 2025 result is out, the following phases of the JAP 2026 selection process will begin as per the common framework sanctioned by the IIMs. The applicants, as per the minimum criteria of academic and CAT 2025 eligibility criteria (which will be announced soon) have to undergo an compulsory registration process on the JAP 2026 website.

Director-in-Charge of IIM Raipur, Prof. Sanjeev Prashar said that It is an honour for all of us to accept the responsibility for coordinating JAP 2026 for IIM Raipur. This common effort also reflects our commitment to a transparent and common admission system so that interested candidates get a single window to access all the IIMs.

The final shortlisting of candidates to appear at the Personal Interview will then be made from among the list of candidates who have registered, using the additional cut-off score to be provided later, per category of candidates.

The personal interview process for JAP 2026 will tentatively take place in February-March 2026. Information on shortlisting procedures, timing of personal interviews and so on will be conveyed to shortlisted applicants in due course by official communications.

IIM Raipur is the coordinating institution for JAP 2026 and the task of the joint admission process will be handled by the aforementioned institution. This shows that the collaborating institutions are committed to a fair and transparent admission process. The applicants should refer to the official websites of the IIMs involved on a regular basis for all updates and further announcements on JAP 2026.
