IIM Nagpur and UNICEF Conduct a Nationwide Case Competition

By combining institutional expertise with youth-driven innovation the effort which was started in collaboration with UNICEF the Maharashtra public health department the National Health Mission Maharashtra and the Nutrition Bureau in Nagpur aims to improve the nation's nutritional infrastructure.
Bhimaraya Metri the director of IIM Nagpur said that the competition aims to merge management education and social and national challenges. Human capital is based on nutrition, and social and economic success depend on a healthy population. With Yukti they hope to motivate young minds to generate doable ideas that will make India healthier and more resilient he added.
The competition invites participants to develop strategic interventions that foster healthy eating habits and balanced nutrition with a special focus on children and youth.
Sustainable nutrition models, community based initiatives and awareness campaigns are also acceptable submissions.
Registration for the Unstop platform opens between October 16 and October 31. Certificates of participation will be given to every team that enters in the first round.
Yukti supports IIM Nagpur's objective of achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals of Good Health and Well-Being (SDG 3) and Zero Hunger (SDG 2) in order to realise the vision of a Swasth Bharat or Healthy India.
