The institute said this partnership will help bring new ideas by combining IIM Mumbai’s knowledge of management and operations with WIF’s work in development areas including the Developed India Mission and sustainable policy work.

IIM Mumbai director Manoj Kumar Tiwari said that institutions need to think beyond classroom learning to solve real problems. He added that joining IIM’s research strength with WIF’s wide network will help create policies that are practical and helpful for the country and the world.

Prof. V B Khanapuri who is the dean of SRIC and Dr Rubina Mittal who is the research director at WIF signed the Memorandum of Understanding at the IIM Mumbai campus.
