Course structure integrates advanced technologies with the basics of management. The subjects that will be taught range from Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Internet of Things and Robotics to business areas like Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Manufacturing. The program is in line with the National Education Policy and offers multiple entry and exit options thus allowing greater academic flexibility.

This undergraduate program has been specifically designed by IIM Mumbai in consultation with knowledge partners like C4i4 and several industry partners. The institute will also go in tandem with Accenture Strategy for internship-driven learning and practical industry exposure enabling students to work on real business and digital challenges.

Besides IIM Mumbai is discussing the opportunities for international academic cooperation with the IMT France. This would let the students gain international exposure to learning and broaden their horizons academically.

In support of this new program IIM Mumbai has obtained approval from the Minister of State for Civil Aviation and Minister of State for Cooperation Murlidhar Mohol to establish a smaller campus at Pune. An existing building will be provided by the Pune Municipal Corporation and restored for academic use. This Pune facility will serve as an extension campus for IIM Mumbai and will host academic activities for the undergraduate course.
