Qualifications
Candidates must fulfil the following conditions in order to apply for IIM Lucknow's PhD in Management program. -
- A Master’s degree or equivalent with at least 55% marks OR 
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a 4-year graduate degree with 75% marks OR 
- A BCom degree and a CA, ICWA, or CS qualification with at least 55% of the possible points OR 
- A two or three-year PGDM from any IIM with 60% of the possible points or a CGPA 
- IIM Lucknow PGPWE with a minimum CGPA of 6. 
- Applicants need to have 55% marks in all public examinations from Class 10 and should be younger than 55 years as of 30 June 2026. 
Selection Process
- Admission will be made on the basis of actual scores in CAT, GATE, GRE, GMAT or JRF/SRF. The test scores should have been obtained on or after 1 Jan 2024. 
- Candidates who have completed PGDM or PGPWE from any IIM do not need to submit these test scores but must provide proof of full time study and percentage conversion details. 
- Foreign nationals and NRIs can also apply with valid GMAT or GRE scores from the past one year. 
Financial Support and Benefits
Admitted students will get a tuition fee waiver, fellowship and financial aid to attend national and international conferences. They will also receive a computer grant and health insurance.
