IIM Lucknow Hosts a Three-Day Orientation Event for 643 PG and PhD Students Starting the New Academic Year
The students took admission in the programs of IIM Lucknow given below: (PGP) Post Graduate Program in Management (PGP-ABM) Post Graduate Program in Agribusiness Management (PGP-SM) Post Graduate Program in Sustainable Management (PhD) Doctor of Philosophy In the launch event, IIM Lucknow graduate of the year 1993 Ananth Narayan G (member of the Securities and Exchange Board of India) was present as well. According to the press release, In addition to Narayan, the IIM Lucknow leadership team was among the other attendees, which included: Dean of Faculty Professor Sanjeet Singh Dean of Programs, Professor Sanjay K. Singh Chairperson of the Doctoral Program, Professor Pushpendra Priyadarshi Chairperson of the Postgraduate Program in Sustainable Management, Professor Dipti Gupta Chairperson of the Postgraduate Program in Management, Professor Alok Dixit. During the induction program, the new batch will have interactive discussions with industry professionals and teachers. This will enable the students to appreciate the opportunities for personal and professional growth. Prof. Sanjeet Singh, Dean, Faculty, IIM Lucknow, welcomed the new batch and said that what would make the students at IIM Lucknow unique was their ability to think critically, question assumptions and solve problems with emotional intelligence and mental acuity. He added that the students belonged to a variety of streams, such as engineering, arts and commerce and that this diversity was their strength. He further added that in the following two years, IIM Lucknow will offer them opportunities to learn, contribute and also to find their own unique perspective. He invited them on an expedition that would transform not just their careers, but also their thought processes.
