The highlight of the event was the Foundation Day Lecture which was given by Ms. Neha Prakash (IAS) who is the Director of Training and Employment UP Government and a 2011 batch alumnus of IIM Lucknow. In a candid address, tracing her path from engineering and consulting to public service she attributed the institute for instilling in her leadership values such as empathy, ethical decision-making and thinking clearly. She emphasised the need for both data and empathy in public service and leadership.

Prof. M.P. Gupta who is the Director of IIM Lucknow was proud of the institute's accomplishments and was grateful for the efforts of its people. He reiterated the institute's vision of developing responsible leaders and fostering effective education.

The day included a number of activities characteristic of the institute:

• Tree Plantation Drive: An environment-friendly drive to encourage environmental consciousness.

• Sports Competitions: Conducted between 12 and 25 July the competitions instilled a sense of community. The winners were congratulated on 25 July.

• Employee Appreciation: Mr. A. Murali (System Analyst) was being honoured for having 25 years of service at the institute.

• Awards to Meritorious Children: Six IIML employee children were awarded cash prizes as a reward for their academic achievements.

• Cultural Program: The celebrations concluded with a vibrant cultural evening that included student and children performances topped with a prize distribution ceremony.

The event testified to IIM Lucknow's profound passion for academic excellence, community outreach and well-rounded development.
