IIM Kozhikode launched a new full-time Bachelor of Management Studies Program at its Kochi Campus

In order to get admission into a full-time Bachelors of Management Studies (Honours with Research) program, the candidates are required to appear for the 2025 IIMK BMS Aptitude Test in an online mode which will be on June 22nd, 2025.

The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode initiated a new UG program - Bachelors of Management Studies (Honours with Research) at its campus in Kochi. The tenure of the course will be four years. The students who are seeking admission into the program need to appear for IIM Kozhikode's online BMS Aptitude Test 2025. There will be two sections in the entrance exam - Verbal Ability and Quantitative Ability. The program fee will be ₹7.00 Lakhs/ year plus one time payment of ₹2.47 Lakhs. 

Those applicants who possess valid scores in the JEE Mains exam or ACT or SAT exam will be exempted from sitting for the BMS Aptitude Test. The exam application will begin on April 22nd, 2025 and will run till May 22nd, 2025. For the academic year 2025–2026, the program combines multidisciplinary learning with management education. Apart from the major management subjects, the students will have the opportunity to choose minor subjects such as artificial intelligence and machine learning, economics and public policy, psychology and behavioural sciences, finance and big data, liberal studies etc.

For the first time ever, a  full-time undergraduate program, featuring a Bachelor's in Management Studies (BMS) with Honours and Research is launched from among the top three IIMs. The program will have eight semesters that will be in accordance with the new National Education Policy (NEP). Students will have an opportunity to interact with experienced professors on research initiatives and prepare a dissertation with early exposure to academic research. 

The curriculum of the program is futuristic in nature, combining classical and modern courses taught by top-class faculty who are renowned for their research and industry exposure. Students will also remain in touch with successful alumni who mentor and direct their career. The instructional strategies involve case studies, simulations and experiential learning making the process of learning very interactive.
