The program will run for 10 months and will be conducted by IIM Kozhikode faculty members through over 120 hours of online interactive classes. The program takes the student through the complete journey of an AI product from creation to deployment and scalability. Students will undergo modules on generative AI, fast engineering, process automation, data governance and responsible AI practices. The program includes case studies, practical projects and a concluding capstone project.

Approximately 69% of firms have already integrated AI into their product workflows for reporting and decision-making, according to the institute's statement. Demand for people who can handle the entire AI product lifecycle has gone up so this program is suitable for mid- and senior-level employees. The course is designed to focus on bridging strategy to technical execution and bridging AI-powered solutions with business goals.

Certification and on-campus experience

Students who complete the program and the capstone project will be awarded a certificate of competence by IIM Kozhikode. Besides students will also get the opportunity to undergo a three day on campus immersion experience at the institute which will give them practical exposure and interactive sessions with professors.

The initiative is targeted at product management, data science and leadership professionals seeking to transition into AI career roles or grow AI-enabled products. It is also open to startups and entrepreneurs who need to apply AI to their ventures.
