IIM Kashipur Hosts Sangam Conference on “Work 360: People, Purpose and Planet”
The event started with Prof. Kunal Ganguly, Dean of Development, stressing the need for corporate speakers to bridge theory and practice. Director Prof. Neeraj Dwivedi stressed the effect of new technologies like AI and blockchain on businesses, while Prof. Somnath Chakrabarti, Dean of Academics, addressed aligning pedagogy with industrial advancements. Professor Vaibhav Bhamoriya moderated a high-impact panel session with top HR and business leaders.
Keynote speakers were:

Sandhya Ramesh (Godrej) promoted diversity across intergenerational workforces.
Ankit Sharma (Cosmo First) stressed sustainability and values-based leadership.
Nidhi Bhatt (Bira 91): Spoke on evolving expectations of self-aware professionals.
Suraj Shetty (Kalpataru) pointed to Gen Z's desire for social responsibility and proactiveness.
Ambika Wadhwa (Gourmet Investments) stressed meaningful internships and mentorship.
Akshay Rakshit (BMW India): In his early working years, he was concerned with value alignment and curiosity.
Vishal Augustya (Fujitsu India) presented best practices in resolving generational diversity and sustainability.
Prof. Utkarsh and Prof. Deepak Verma of the Placement Committee highlighted that Sangam illustrates IIM Kashipur's mission of creating responsible leaders who balance commercial goals with society and environmental issues.
The event put focus on the institute's fundamental principles of collegiality, proactive engagement, environmental awareness and transparency and further promoted industry-relevant, experiential learning.
