The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Prof. Neeraj Dwivedi, Director of IIM Kashipur and CA (Dr.) Jai Kumar Batra, Secretary of ICAI. The signing of the MoU was witnessed by Dr. Sambit Kumar Mishra, Deputy Director of ICAI; Prof. Kunal K. Ganguly, Dean (Development) of IIM Kashipur and K. N. Badhani, Dean (Academics) of IIM Kashipur.

While delivering his speech at the occasion, Prof. Neeraj Dwivedi, the Director of IIM Kashipur said that the role of Chartered Accountants cannot be ignored in ensuring that transparency and financial discipline are maintained in the economy. He also said that the institute is looking to facilitate learning through this MoU with ICAI, as it provides courses that blend strong accounting knowledge with strong managerial and regulatory skills.

The MoU provides an opportunity for joint working in the development and delivery of customised training programs, refresher courses, seminars, workshops and research activities.
