IIM Jammu organised a two day International HR Conference 2025 on November 28. The theme of the conference was “Future of Fusion Fuelling Innovation, Resilience and Sustainable Success.

IIM Jammu will Host the 2025 International HR Conference

The conference brings together more than 150 participants. These include industry experts, well-known professors and researchers. They discuss the changing trends in human resource management due to technology, sustainability, agility and organisational culture. The event also includes teachers from top national and international institutes and industry leaders from across India. It creates a lively platform for useful discussions and new ideas in human resource management.

Soarabh Pathak, Senior Vice President, Central HR, Maruti Suzuki said human machine fusion will be a driving force in the future of work as it changes how organisations operate and workers engage with their jobs. He emphasised that to stay ahead in this evolving world, every business has to redesign jobs, invest in continuous reskilling, and develop an adaptable, collaborative and future ready workforce.

Aparajita Tripathi, Partner, Infrastructure & Government Advisory at KPMG discussed flaws in AI, including how small mistakes can snowball into systemic issues.

Abhay Kapoor, Group CHRO & Sr. VP-Global Human Resources at UIL Group gave an engrossing talk on the transformational role that HR has to play in today's fast-changing landscape.

The presentation was followed by an engaging panel discussion at the International HR Conclave on how blending technology with people, agility with resilience and innovation with sustainability is transforming HR strategies.

Addressing the gathering, Prof Jabir Ali, Dean Faculty and Research, IIM Jammu underlined the importance of good HR research in crafting Future of Fusion: Fuelling Innovation, Resilience and Sustainable Success. According to him the future of organisations will be determined by how well people, technology and purpose come together.

Dr. Mamta Tripathi, Conference Chair, IIM Jammu pointed out the importance of creating a culture in which technology enhances humanity while also creating adaptive workplaces, prioritising employee well being and constructing resilient workforce models. The vote of thanks was suggested by Dr. Garima Saini the IIM Jammu Conference Co-Chair. Day one of IHRC 2025 kicked off with seven concurrent tracks, delivering acute, future-focused scholarly insights throughout the HR spectrum.
