The conclave united industry leaders, HR practitioners and scholars in stimulating discussions on building future proof, people first businesses. The main visitor to the ceremony was Barclays Managing Director Vermeen Kapoor.

Vermeen Kapoor addressed her student life discussing how leaders used to talk about students as leaders of the future a thought that remains extremely close to her heart even today. From risk assessment to mobile banking, she emphasised how technology is changing every aspect of life and business, but she also emphasised that human capital is what really propels these changes. She highlighted the significance of being people focused and called for cultivating cultures of psychological safety in which teams could fail faster and learn faster, promoting collaboration, resilience and innovative problem solving abilities. Prof BS Sahay Director IIM Jammu spoke about Jammu and Kashmir's changing role and growth during the past few years. He noted that IIM Jammu, IIT Jammu, and AIIMS are currently the three national level institutes in the Jammu region.  He emphasised that the country has great expectations from IIM Jammu and its bright minds and asked all to commit themselves towards the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.

He underlined that the industry needs resilience and excellent performance and that IIMs do not just produce MBAs but also benefit the nation and society.
