The three-day program seeks to give leaders or authorities relevant insights into generative AI and its transformative effect on leadership, governance and decision-making, as per an official spokesperson. IIM Jammu director Professor BS Sahay inaugurated the first session virtually.

The following visitors attended the ceremony:

• Prof. Sanjeev Pathak, who is chairperson of executive education and Consultancy (EE&C).

• Prof. Nitin Upadhyay, who is the dean of academics.

• Dr Pratik Maheshwari, who is the co-chairperson of EE&C from IIM Jammu.

• Professor Jabir Ali, who is the dean of faculty and research.

Professor Sahay spoke to the attendees in an online way. He emphasised the importance of AI literacy among senior government officials in the current rapidly evolving digital world.

He underscored the fact that in an effort to become a digitally empowered knowledge economy, public companies need to leverage AI to enhance governance, operational effectiveness and citizen-centric delivery of services.

He welcomed participants to use the three-day training program to the fullest by engaging and learning from each other.  He emphasised the focus of IIM Jammu to offer innovative, policy-oriented education to cater to concerns today.
