The program is fully sponsored by the Government of India and seeks to improve the managerial, strategic and operational acumen of MSME entrepreneurs. Prof. Pranab Ranjan Das emphasised the role of MSMEs in the economic development of India and the ongoing initiatives of IIM Jammu in the area of entrepreneurship development.

The initiatives of the Entrepreneurship Education and Consulting Centre were discussed by Dr. Pratik Maheshwari and he was confident that the program would bring a positive effect to professional development. Dr. Sumesh P. Soman concluded the session by thanking DCMSME, the leadership of IIM Jammu, faculty members and participants.

The program, titled Capacity to Competitiveness Strategise, Sustain and Scale, is being conducted by the Centre for Small Business Development and implemented by Executive Education and Consultancy, IIM Jammu, emphasising the commitment of the institute to develop the MSME ecosystem.
