IIM Jammu Chairman Milind Kamble to Lead DICCI Delegation at WEF 2026

Padma Shri Dr. Milind P. Kamble, Chairman of the Board of Governors, Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu will head the Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DICCI) delegation to the World Economic Forum (WEF) 2026, to be held at Davos, Switzerland from January 19 to 21, 2026. The delegation will carry the hope for the future of Indian entrepreneurship on the global stage, as the above-mentioned forum is one of the strongest in the world.

IIM Jammu Chairman Milind Kamble to Lead DICCI Delegation at WEF 2026

Prof. B. S. Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu, emphasised the importance of this international outreach and stated that Dr. Kamble’s role in WEF 2026 at Davos represents India’s commitment towards developing and fostering a vibrant and innovative economy, in line with the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 which has been expressed by our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

He said that international platforms like the World Economic Forum help create partnerships, attract investments and share knowledge. These are important for strengthening India’s startup and business environment and supporting the country’s long-term growth. Prof. Sahay wished Dr. Kamble and the entire DICCI delegation a highly effective and successful participation at WEF 2026, confident that their participation will power India's global entrepreneurial presence.

Participation by Dr Kamble in the World Economic Forum 2026 is in line with India's national vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, which rests on inclusive growth, innovation and enterprise-led development as prime pillars of success. Dr. Kamble has often collaborated with DICCI in the pursuit of first-generation businesses and empowering MSMEs with assured long term livelihood opportunities in diversified sectors.

The presence of the DICCI delegation at WEF 2026 in Davos is anticipated to facilitate strategic networking with industry leaders, governments and investment groups all over the world, simultaneously raising international awareness of Indian companies, especially those founded by generation one entrepreneurs.
