IIM Indore to Roll Out AI and Machine Learning Programs from 2026 - 2027

IIM Indore will introduce new AI and machine learning-based electives from the 2026 - 2027 academic session to prepare students for the growing demand for AI-skilled professionals. These new courses are expected to start from July and will include subjects such as AI ethics and communication, machine learning for business applications and regression analysis.

IIM Indore to Roll Out AI and Machine Learning Programs from 2026 - 2027

These electives will be part of the postgraduate management programs and aim to align management education with the changing needs of the business world. The institute said the focus will be not only on learning technology but also on using it responsibly in areas like operations, strategy, decision - making, Human Resources and marketing.

According to Director Prof. Himanshu Rai, the goal is to keep management education in line with rapid changes driven by AI, analytics and digital transformation. IIM Indore has also expanded its AI and analytics courses in recent years and is running several executive programs in this field showing strong industry demand for AI - related skills and training.
