The ranking recognises IIM Indore’s Weekend MBA Postgraduate Program in Management for Executives - PGPMX which has also been named the best EMBA program in India. Globally it stands 13th for career progression according to IIM Indore Director Prof. Himanshu Rai.

Prof. Rai said the achievement highlights IIM Indore’s “commitment to excellence, innovative teaching and the global success of its alumni.”

This ranking is especially significant because all of IIM Indore’s key programs the two-year MBA/PGP, one-year MBA (EPGP), and the Weekend MBA (PGPMX) are now featured in the FT Top 100 list, along with its executive and open learning programs.

The strong performance of the PGPMX program comes at a time when global demand for executive education has risen by 15% in 2024 as per QS reports driven by professionals seeking flexible and high-impact learning options.

Prof. Rai also pointed out that IIM Indore’s jump of 20 positions in the FT Global MBA Rankings 2025 reflects its evolving teaching methods, world-class faculty and the achievements of its alumni worldwide.

He concluded by saying that this improvement is “just the beginning” for IIM Indore as the institute continues to aim higher in global business education.
