IIM Indore Looks For Global partnerships at SETU 2025

The 8 October 2025 event was where 17 partner organisation thought leaders from 13 nations came together to discuss how collaborations between academia and technology can facilitate sustainable and inclusive global education.

The day long discussions focused on how artificial intelligence can be utilised to solve global issues like climate change, inclusion and ethical innovation. Speakers on AI for Sustainability included Dr Uttiyo Raychaudhuri from the University of Denver, Prof Andrea Sianesi of Politecnico di Milano, Dr Julia Christine Balogun of the University of Liverpool and Dr Simon Fraser from Robert Gordon University. They discussed the function of AI in enabling ethical innovation and education of future leaders for technology facilitated transitions.

IIM Indore Director Prof. Himanshu Rai stated the institute is endeavoring to tackle social and economic challenges like income inequality, rural poverty and ecological degradation through cross border academic partnerships.

They are not just focusing on management education but also on developing real world solutions by integrating innovation, research and social responsibility, he explained.
