The 85 percentile was the qualifying cutoff for the General category of the 2025 CAT. However, the actual percentile which will be used for shortlisting candidates for PI rounds is expected to be around 99 or more percentiles.

For the PI process, only the candidates who have selected IIM Calcutta while submitting the CAT 2025 application form will be considered. This shortlist is made based on the 2025 CAT score, academics and work experience.

Shortlisted candidates will get information regarding the PI schedule and the venue of the personal interview through email. The PI process is expected to take place in February 2026.
