The three-day program brought together 10 startups and included expert sessions on finance, leadership, negotiation, team building, skills and branding. Mentors and faculty from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta ecosystem, including Prof. Abhishek Goel, Prof. Manju Jaiswal and Prof. Chandradeep Mitra, led the training sessions.
V K Rai the CEO of IIM Calcutta Innovation Park, said the program will help new founders gain knowledge, guidance and skills to build strong and scalable businesses.
Torsten Schmidt Chief Executive Officer and MD of Daimler India Commercial Vehicles, stated that entrepreneurship and innovation are vital for inclusive and sustainable growth. He further said the initiative helps boost India’s startup ecosystem and supports the “Viksit Bharat” vision.
