The Memorandum of Understanding signing ceremony took place on January 19 in the presence of Vinita S. Sahay, Director of IIM Bodh Gaya and Devan Deshpande, principal product manager, Automation Anywhere. Other attendees included B G Nagaraja, academic alliance manager at Automation Anywhere and Charu Naithani, Chairperson of the institute’s IT committee.

Under the collaborative effort, Automation Anywhere will be providing the software-as-a-service automation tool that will be available to the students of IIM Bodh Gaya. There will also be opportunities available that will enable the students to pursue certifications in process automation.

According to the officials of the Institute, the automation technology will be incorporated in their existing programs, while the company will contribute towards the development of new sessions/modules using AI. The partnership will enable the learners to learn the different applications of automation in the world of businesses using the customer base of AutomationAnywhere.

Signing the MOU, Automation Anywhere organised an interactive session for first-year MBA students on the topic of agentic process automation, as part of its corporate social responsibility activities. There was also discussion about cooperation between the faculty and representatives from the company regarding the development of future courses with a focus on technology-driven education in management.

The Director of IIIM Bodh Gaya said this partnership fits within IIIM Bodh Gaya’s overall strategy to equip students with the necessary knowledge to thrive in a technology-driven business world through a holistic integration of education with direct industry engagement in digital areas.
