IIM Bangalore Achieves 100% Summer Placements Across Top Sectors for 2026 Batch

The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore has concluded the Summer Placement process for its 2025–27 batch of PGP and PGP-BA programs successfully. During the placement week between 13 Oct - 18 Oct 2025 all 601 students of IIM Bangalore got internship offers from 137 companies.
Placement Highlights
Every participating student got an internship offer.
Around 30% of companies were first-time recruiters at IIM Bangalore.
Several fields, including consulting, finance, General management, product management, marketing and analytics extended offers to students.
Consulting Leads with 46% of Offers
Consulting continued to dominate placements making up 46% of all offers up from 38% last year. There were 282 internships available from 23 consulting firms.

Accenture Strategy – 132 offers
Boston Consulting Group – 24 offers
Bain & Company – 18 offers
Tata Consultancy Services – 15 offers
McKinsey & Company – 13 offers
Some other recruiters were Kearney, EY Parthenon, Alvarez & Marsal, Deloitte, PwC and Oliver Wyman
Growth in Finance, E-commerce and Healthcare Industries
Finance, Banking and Investments - 35 firms made 86 offers.
E-commerce, Payments and Telecom - 15 firms offered 55 internships.
Healthcare and Education - 9 firms made 23 offers a 70% increase from last year.
Other Key Domains
IT, Analytics and Product Management - 22 companies placed 52 students
FMCG and Retail - 15 companies offered 45 jobs
Manufacturing, Construction and Energy - 12 firms offered 29 internships
Conglomerates - Aditya Birla Group, Reliance, Tata Administrative Services and Vedanta together made 29 offers.
IIM Bangalore's 2026 summer placements registered 100% internship placement with more participation from new and existing firms. Consulting continued to be the strongest domain while finance, e-commerce and healthcare showed strong growth reflecting a diverse and dynamic hiring landscape for management students.
