IIM Ahmedabad PGPX 2026 Batch: 160 Students Joined

The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad has inducted the 21st batch of the one-year PGPX (executive) MBA program with a total strength of 160 students.

The batch comprises 114 boys and 46 girls, accounting for 28% women in the batch. The students in the batch have an average age of 30 and bring with them 7.5 years of experience on average.

According to the institute, almost a third of the batch members have gained global experience through their professional or educational background. The students in the batch hail from various sectors, including BFSI, Consulting, Energy, IT and ITeS, Manufacturing, Defence, Retail, FMCG, Aviation, Healthcare and Logistics.

From the standpoint of sector-wise representation, the sectors that boast of the largest share of students include BFSI, Consulting, Energy & Utilities (22), IT/ITeS (15), Manufacturing & Engineering (14), Defence and Security (10) and Retail and E-commerce (7).

Moreover, the institute also released the list of selected students for its renowned two-year PGP program, which will enroll soon. From the total PGPX students, the majority of candidates (108) were selected based on their performance in the GMAT Focus Edition exam, 33 through GRE and 19 through GMAT.
