According to the institute, the lateral placement process ended on January 15, 2026. Recruiters from various sectors participated including FinIQ, NTT Data, Navi, ERP.AI, BrowserStack and Eternal.

Cluster-wise placement schedule

IIM Ahmedabad will also maintain its cluster and cohort-based placement process, where companies are organised into cohorts according to industry profiles and are invited to campus in cohorts. The final placements will be carried out as per the following schedule.

Cluster 1: February 3, 2026

Cluster 2: February 6, 2026

Cluster 3: February 9, 2026

The institute has announced that a rolling placement process will be followed after Cluster 3, if required.

The PGP-FABM placements will follow the same schedule

The final placement schedule for the Post Graduate Program in Food and Agri-Business Management (PGP-FABM) will follow the same timeline. Cluster 1 will start on February 3, 2026 while Clusters 2 and 3 are scheduled for February 6 and February 9, respectively. A rolling placement process will follow if required.

Cluster reports to be released on placement days

IIM Ahmedabad said it will keep updating the media regularly. Official press releases will be issued after each placement cluster. The institute will release the reports for Clusters 1 and 2 on its website at approximately 10:00 PM on the corresponding placement days. The report for Cluster 3 and the consolidated placement report will be put out simultaneously. All placement updates will be available on the official website of IIM Ahmedabad.

Institute urges media to rely on official sources

The institute has asked all media organisations to use only official press releases for placement updates. They should avoid unofficial sources which can cause rumours and false information.

Because of the magnitude of the process the Placement Committee will not be able to answer media queries throughout the day.
