ICFAI Business School Shares Selection Process for MBA and PGPM 2026 Batch

The selection process is announced publicly by ICFAI Business School (IBS) to start the MBA and PGPM two year courses under the 2026 academic session. The selection will be held between 14 Feb and 22 Feb on the IBS Hyderabad campus.

ICFAI Business School Shares Selection Process for MBA and PGPM 2026 Batch

This selection process would be for all candidates who are seeking admission into any of the nine IBS centres located across India including the cities of Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Dehradun, Gurgaon, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune.

IBS has stated that the selection method shall focus on assessing a candidate's overall potential. The process is designed as a holistic evaluation instead of an elimination process so that the applicants gets a fair opportunity to express their skill, thinking ability and interest in management education.

Stages of the IBS Selection Process 2026

The selection involves two broad stages, which are discussed below - 

  • Micro Presentation -  Candidates in this round will be given a topic selected from a list of 100 topics. They will get one minute to prepare and three minutes to speak. This activity checks how well a candidate is able to think fast, organise ideas and talk fluently.

  • Personal Interview - After the presentation, the candidates will appear for a personal interview. The interview panel will discuss the candidate's academic background, career aspirations, awareness and suitability towards management studies. In addition, the round will test the extent of matching the candidate’s aspirations.

Entrance Exams Accepted for Shortlisting

The candidates are shortlisted for the selection process based on the valid scores they achieved in the CAT, XAT, GMAT, NMAT by GMAC exams or their performance in the IBSAT entrance exam.
