About the IBSAT exam

The 2025 IBSAT exam will be organised on Dec 27 and 28. The exam will be held in a remote monitored format which means students can take the exam at home. It is a two hour online test with 140 MCQ questions. The exam checks skills in English, reading, maths and data interpretation. The sections include -

• Verbal Ability will have 50 questions

• Reading Comprehension will have 30 questions

• Quantitative Aptitude will have 30 questions

• Data Adequacy and Data Interpretation will have 30 questions

IBSAT is a useful option for students exploring MBA admissions offering entry to IBS Hyderabad and the other eight campuses along with scholarship opportunities.

Scholarships

Candidates who take 2025 IBSAT can qualify for 500 scholarships worth ₹2 lakh each. These are given to top scorers, children of IBS alumni, physically handicapped students and children of defence personnel from the Army, Navy, Air Force and paramilitary forces.

Campuses

Students who clear the exam can choose from nine IBS campuses across India based on their location and career plans.
