HSB Jaipur has appointed Prof. Archana Shukla, a Former Director of IIM Lucknow as a director

Effective August 1, 2025 Prof. Archana Shukla has been appointed as the new director of the Hari Shankar Singhania School of Business (HSB) one of JK Lakshmipat University's first technologically advanced business schools in Jaipur. She replaces Professor Gregory Dunn.

HSB Jaipur has appointed Prof. Archana Shukla, a Former Director of IIM Lucknow as a director

Prof. Shukla a PhD in Psychology from an IIT Kanpur alumnus is a seasoned academic with more than 30 years of teaching, research and academic leadership experience with specialisations in organisational behaviour and knowledge management.

Prof. Shukla will be responsible for HSB's two-year UGC approved residential MBA program, which has speciality streams in digital product management, artificial intelligence and business analytics and entrepreneurship and organisational foresight.

Prof. Shukla's joining was warmly received by Shri B.H. Singhania, Chancellor of JK Lakshmipat University who said that her appointment as Director of their flagship business school would further HSB's vision of balancing academic sophistication with practical relevance. He stressed that her rich experience at IIM Lucknow and knowledge in organisational behaviour would play a key role in shaping global business leaders who can design future organisations. Professor Shukla has been the past director of IIM Lucknow's Noida Campus for six years and the prior dean for almost three years.   Furthermore, from 2015 to 2017, she was the first chair of the Dr. Ishwar Dayal Chair for Futuristic Issues in the Behavioural Sciences. Her contribution involved designing and delivering management development courses in leadership, strategic thinking, building teams and being effective managers and culture building, coaching and assessment centres to business houses such as KPMG, Mahindra & Mahindra, Samsung, Reckitt Benckiser, Johnson & Johnson and the GMR Group.

Prof. Archana Shukla, in response to her appointment said she was privileged to become a part of HSB at this juncture and that the mission of the institution was well aligned with the needs of an evolving global business environment. She expressed a willingness to work together with teachers, students and industry mentors to enhance HSB's global influence. In 2024 HSB was created in honour of Mr. Hari Shankar Singhania a visionary philanthropist and industrialist who served as the founding chancellor of JK Lakshmipat University and the previous president of the JK Organisation. Its purpose was to create leaders who could adapt to fast paced technological revolutions and international disruptions with agility and vision.
