The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) administers the GGSIPU CET exam as a prerequisite for admission to the BBA programme. It consists of 100 multiple-choice questions with 4 marks for every correct response and -1 mark for every wrong response.

The test is of 2.5 hours (150 minutes) duration and with a maximum mark of 400. The test is segmented into four sections, each with 25% weightage. These include general awareness, communication and management skills, logical and analytical ability and English language and comprehension.

The English Language and Comprehension section tests grammar, vocabulary, sentence correction, reading comprehension and verbal skills. Applicants need to possess a good understanding of the English language and fundamental communication skills. The Logical and Analytical Ability section evaluates problem-solving and reasoning skills through questions on coding and decoding, number series, blood relations and pattern recognition. 

The General Awareness section contains questions on current events, general knowledge, Indian history, geography, sports, science and significant events. Reading newspapers and staying up to date can assist with this side. The Management Aptitude and Communication skills section evaluates the candidate's familiarity with basic business concepts, leadership skills, teamwork, communication techniques and decision-making skills. The IPU CET BBA curriculum relies on general 10+2 knowledge and does not demand a large amount of academic specialisation.

Multiple-choice questions constitute the IPU CET exam, which is conducted online.  There are 100 questions in total, and each one is worth four marks. One mark is deducted for each wrong answer. The test runs for 2.5 hours (150 minutes) in total. The question paper is available in only one language, namely English. Depending upon the course, the pattern of the exam may slightly vary, but as a whole, it tests a student's knowledge of English, logical reasoning, general awareness and areas of management, Communication and Business studies.

IPU CET Exam Marking Scheme

One mark is deducted for each incorrect response, and four marks are given for each correct response. Unanswered questions receive no marks. The maximum score is 400 because there are 100 questions in total.  Accuracy and thoughtful responses are rewarded by this marking system. The IPU CET exam marking scheme is simple.
