IPU CET Exam 2025: Eligibility and Reservation for BBA Program

IPU CET BBA 2025 is an entrance test conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) for admission to its Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program. The test is for students who have completed their 10+2 studies and want to study management courses. Candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination of a recognised board with at least 50% aggregate.

English should be an optional or core subject. Candidates who will be taking final exams in 2025 can also apply, provided they fulfil the eligibility conditions at the time of admission. The age of candidates should not exceed 21 as of August 1, 2025. The examination is mostly conducted online through multiple-choice questions spread over four sections: English Language and Comprehension, General Awareness, Logical and Analytical Ability and Management and Communication Skills.

GGSIPU has a well-structured reservation policy that is in tune with the needs of the Government of India. 85% of the total seats are for students from the Delhi region (students who have studied in Delhi schools) and the remaining 15% are for candidates who are not from Delhi. Within the Delhi region, 27% is reserved for OBC (Delhi), 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, 5% for Defence and 5% for Persons with Disabilities (PWD). Outside Delhi, 15% is reserved for SC, 7.5% for ST, 5% for Defence and 3% for PWD.

Besides that, the candidates belonging to the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) can get a 10% reservation and one supernumerary seat in each program is allocated to the Kashmiri migrants in each college. The applicants should ensure they verify their category at the time of application and also keep all necessary documents handy for the counselling process. Educational Qualifications

  • The candidates should have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) from a recognised board with at least 50% aggregate marks.

  • English must have been studied as a core, optional or functional subject.

  • Final-year students of 10+2 (2025) can apply on a temporary basis. However, the candidates have to provide final marksheets before counselling or admission.

Age limit

  • Applicants should be below 21 years of age as of August 1, 2025.

Nationality

  • Deserving individuals are mostly Indian citizens.

  • NRI/foreign candidates can apply if they possess relevant nationality and study documents.

Reservation Policy for IPU CET Exam 2025

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University distributes 85% of its BBA seats among Delhi region candidates and 15% among candidates from outside the Delhi region. Within the Delhi quota, 27% of the seats are reserved for OBCs, 15% for SCs, 7.5% for STs and 5% for Defence (DDEF) and Persons with Disabilities (DPWD). Outside Delhi, 15% of seats are reserved for SC, 7.5% for ST and 5% for Defence (ODDEF) and PWD. These reservations are according to government regulation in order to encourage inclusive education.

Reservation Policy for Affiliated Self-Financing Colleges and Institutions Other Than Minority Institutions and USS/Affiliated Government Institutions

Following are the reservation policies for the numerous institutes:

For governmental organisations and Universities in the National Capital Territory of Delhi

For self-financing organisations in the Delhi NCT, excluding those with minority status

Self-Financing Organisations Except for institutions with minority status, all are situated in the NCR, outside of Delhi.

The Delhi Region will receive 85% of the approved intake, with the following seat reservations:


 DSC: 15%

 DST: 7.5% 

 DDEF: 5% 

DPWD: 5% 

DOBC: 27%
