IIM Bangalore Cutoff 2026 – PGP, PGPBA and Category-wise Cutoff

To get admission into IIM Bangalore’s PGP and other management programs like PGPBA, EPGP, PGPEM & BBA students need to meet the minimum CAT cutoff set by the institute. For the 2026–28 batch (based on CAT 2025 scores) the general category students must score at least 85 percentile overall and at least 80 in VARC, 75 in DILR and 75 in QA. The minimum overall qualifying CAT cut-off is lower for reserved categories such as 75 for NC-OBC and EWS, 70 for SC, 65 for ST and 60 for PwD candidates.

IIM Bangalore PGP Admission Criteria for 2026-2028

• To secure admission into IIM Bangalore's PGP program, candidates need to first meet the minimum CAT 2025 cut-offs (85th percentile 2026  for the general category; lower for reserved classes).

• Such applicants are selected on the basis of CAT scores, academic record, working experience or professional qualifications and gender diversity.

• Candidates who qualify the IIM Bangalore shortlist subsequently go through a Written Ability Test (WAT) and a Personal Interview (PI). The final selection is made on the basis of a composite score comprising CAT performance, academics, work experience, WAT and PI.

• Reservations are offered in accordance with government regulations and any misrepresentation of facts can result in disqualification.
