On October 17, 2025 the official announcement and the application form for the 2026 CMAT were made available. The CMAT exam date is not yet confirmed but will be held in the third week of January 2026. The test will be conducted in two sessions across approximately 120 locations in India. It was mentioned in the official notification issued about CMAT 2026 that there would be no change in the exam pattern and syllabus.

CMAT 2026 Registration and Application Process

The application form for CMAT can be filled out on the NTA website.  Follow the steps mentioned below.

• First go to the official website of the CMAT 2026: 

• Click on the tab Registration for CMAT 2026 .

• Go to New registration'.

• Enter basic details.

• After registration log in and fill out the CMAT form.

• Enter personal and academic information.

Choose test cities and attach a passport sized photo and signature. Finish the transaction by paying the CMAT fee. Finish the transaction by paying the CMAT fee. Male applicants in the General category must pay ₹2500 to register for the 2026 CMAT while male candidates in reserved categories, female candidates and transgender candidates must pay ₹1250.
