CGC Mohali Introduces MBA Plus Leadership Program to Bridge Industry-Academia Gap

The mentorship-driven program aims to integrate practical corporate experience with learning in the classroom. It was led by the institutions Founder Chancellor Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal along with Managing Director Arsh Dhaliwal, Executive Vice President Govind Negi and Dr. Sushil Prashar The programs industry partner is HR Success Talk.

The "MBA Plus" programs structured mentorship concept in which each industry expert mentors a group of fifteen students each semester. Students will be mentored by four different industry professionals over the course of the two-year program giving them a variety of perspectives on leadership and business management.

Additionally, the program includes an Executive Mentorship Council that will involve students in case study analysis, strategic simulations and boardroom debates. Participants will work on actual business problems in a variety of fields like financial analysis, market expansion, operational improvements and technology transformation. The curriculum incorporates long-term internships, consulting assignments and industry projects to make sure that students establish strong corporate connections even before completing their degrees.

Speaking at the launch Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal emphasised that the purpose of higher education is to develop responsible and conscientious leaders in addition to imparting knowledge. The necessity of management education models that closely mirror actual organisational operations and leadership decision-making was emphasised by Arsh Dhaliwal. Dr. Sushil Prashar described the program as a holistic blend of academic learning and industry exposure while Govind Negi underscored the importance of strong industry collaboration.

CGC University Mohali has set a new standard for management education with the launch of MBA Plus a major step in improving the connection between academic study and practical experience.
