CAT 2025 Scores Needed for MICA Admission - MICAT Holds 25% Weightage

Both MICAT one scores and CAT 2025 results are out now. Candidates who are not satisfied with their performance in MICAT one can apply for MICAT two for which the registration closes on 29 Jan.

MICA PGDM Admission Selection Criteria

The selection process at MICA is multi-layered as different components carry different weightage -

  • CAT/XAT/GMAT score - 35%

  • MICAT score - 25%

  • Group Exercise (GE) - 10%

  • Personal Interview (PI) - 20%

  • Academic record (Graduation, Intermediate and High school) -  5%

  • Extracurricular activities and academic, sports and gender diversity -  5%

This means entrance exam scores together make up 60% of the total selection weightage.

Candidates with strong CAT, XAT or GMAT scores have a good chance of getting shortlisted but performing well in the MICAT exam is equally important. MICA gives balanced importance to academics, aptitude, creativity and overall personality while preparing the final merit list.
