The CAT 2025 exam date and eligibility criteria were announced with the information bulletin. Based on the institute's calendar the CAT exam will be held in three shifts on November 30.

All 21 Indian IIMs use CAT scores for admission to MBA and postgraduate management courses. Merely clearing the national-level MBA entrance exam does not secure admission, though. Those who clear the CAT will be invited for a personal interview and a written ability test depending on which selection process the specific IIM follows.

Along with this performance of candidates in academics from Class 10 to bachelor's degree and work experience will be considered for final selection. Academic and gender diversity are also vital factors while deciding on eligibility. various IIMs have various entrance requirements.

Quantitative ability (QA), data interpretation and logical reasoning (DILR), verbal ability and reading comprehension (VARC) will all be included in the IIM CAT 2025 question paper.  The exam will last 120 minutes plus an additional 40 minutes for PwD applicants.

• CAT 2025 applications open on August 1, 2025.

•  The CAT 2025 registration deadline is September 13, 2025, at 5:00 PM.

• The 2025 CAT admission card will be available on November 5, 2025.

• Date of the CAT 2025 Exam: November 30, 2025

• Results for CAT 2025 will be announced the first week of January.
