This year the fee to challenge each question has been increased to ₹1500. Objections must be sent by 10 Dec. The CAT exam took place on 30 Nov.

In order to raise an objection candidates need to upload the supporting documents for proof. The answer key and response sheet can be downloaded using the login ID and password. Response sheet consists of candidate’s name, registration number, test date, question ID marked answer along with other details.

As per the CAT marking system each correct answer gets three  marks, each wrong answer carries a penalty of one mark and there is no deduction for unattempted questions.

Things to remember while challenging the 2025 CAT answer key

• If the answer to a question is pretty clearly wrong raise an objection.

• The objection fee will be returned only in case of an accepted challenge.

• The fee is payable without which the form will not be accepted.

• Refunds are handled in five business days.

• Once an objection is submitted it cannot be changed.

• No objections shall be received beyond the release of the final answer key.

• The question paper or answers cannot be rechecked under any circumstances.
