BIMTECH Hosts Top IIMs And IITs at VIHAAN 2026

The flagship annual festival of Birla Institute of Management Technology VIHAAN 2026 was successfully concluded after three days of fierce innovation, competition and teamwork. "Together We Rise" was the main theme of the event.

Mr. Vinod Chaturvedi, CHRO of Shree Cement Ltd., was the chief guest on the inaugural day. Prominent institutions from all across the nation including IIM Kashipur, IIM Sambalpur, IIM Calcutta, MDI Gurgaon, IIT Mandi, FORE School of Business, IMI Bhubhneswer, SRCC, LSR, GLIMS Chennai, Welingkar Mumbai and other colleges from Delhi University showed outstanding participation in the event.

Director of BIMTECH Dr. Prabina Rajib greeted the visitors and emphasised taking part in these kinds of activities promotes the development of a person's whole personality. These gatherings improve inter-institutional cooperation while also encouraging healthy competition among India's greatest minds. These kinds of interactions are essential for fostering young inventiveness and management excellence.

According to Dr. Manosi Chaudhuri, Convenor of Vihaan there will be eighteen different competitions in 2026 including case study challenges.

Competitions that tested participants are critical thinking, managerial skills and artistic expression were organised by the organising clubs and conduits. Co-convenor Dr Pawan Kamble expressed gratitude to the sponsors including Tissot, MCX, Pilot Pens, Unstop, Bank of Baroda, NTPC, The Vibe, Safexpress, Axis Bank and others for helping to make this event possible.

BEST MANAGER was an exceptional event that required contestants to complete eight demanding rounds that mimicked real-world managerial issues. The emphasis on experiential learning was also demonstrated by events like HERITAGE HEIST a mystery-solving strategy challenge, STRATVYUH a high-stakes case study competition and MARKET THAT SUSTAINS a sustainability-focused live Monopoly simulation.

Anshika Pandey, Saheba, Snehi and BIMTECH's alumni band IMPROMPTU performed throughout the fest's high-energy cultural evening, captivating the audience and ensuring that it ended on a joyous note.
