Bihar Government and IIM Bodh Gaya Introduce Chief Minister Fellowship Scheme Offering ₹80,000–₹1.5 Lakh Monthly Stipend to Youth

Under this initiative the Bihar state government has come up with the Chief Minister Fellowship Scheme (CMFS), in partnership with IIM Bodh Gaya As part of this scheme, the state government of Bihar is providing young professionals the chance to work in association with the Bihar state administration for governance and development projects.

Bihar Government and IIM Bodh Gaya Introduce Chief Minister Fellowship Scheme Offering ₹80,000–₹1.5 Lakh Monthly Stipend to Youth

For this program, selected fellows will be placed in various state government departments for a period of two years. Each fellow will concentrate on policy planning, implementation and development projects on the department level during the fellowship period.

This program also entails academic support by IIM Bodh Gaya and fellows will benefit from training modules and mentorship by faculty members of the institute. Candidates who take part in this study will be awarded a postgraduate certificate in Public Policy and Governance.

The Chief Minister Fellowship Scheme provides a monthly stipend of ₹80000 to ₹150000 depending on the designation of the fellowship.
