Top officials, such as Director of IIM Jammu, Prof. B. S. Sahay, council member and ICMAI were present when Chief Administrative Officer IIM Jammu, Kesavan Baskkaran and Secretary (officiating), ICMAI, Debaprosanna Nandy, signed the Memorandum of Understanding ceremonially.  IIM, Jammu spokesperson Navneet Kumar Jain said.

He said that the MoU provides a platform for the two top universities to work together to design and organise management development programmes, speciality training courses, executive education and faculty development programs.

It also promotes the exchange of knowledge in the form of research collaborations, joint seminars, conferences, workshops, curriculum development and sharing of academic resources, he added.

The MoU is aimed at promoting joint endeavours in areas of mutual interest like research projects, faculty exchange, and shared academic resource access the official added.

This partnership reflects IIM Jammu's vision of becoming a globally recognised management institute and ICMAI's function as the statutory body responsible for fostering and regulating the cost accounting profession in India according to the release.
