ACCA Signs MoU with IIM Tiruchirappalli to Enhance Finance Education

ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) a worldwide professional body for accountants has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Tiruchirappalli for enhancing education in accountancy and finance.

Prabhanshu Mittal of ACCA India and Prof. P. Saravanan from IIM Trichy signed the MoU in the presence of IIM Trichy's director Dr. Pawan Kumar Singh. This collaboration will help introduce global standards of finance education to India.

What the Partnership Provides?

Through this partnership the two institutions will:

  • Collaborate on co-branded educational products.

  • Provide workshops and seminars to students.

  • Share knowledge and foster innovation in finance.

  • Provide support for faculty development through training and teaching resources.

Purpose of the MoU

The central objective is to assist students in gaining global-level qualifications as well as abilities. The partnership will also enhance research in accountancy as well as finance and get the students ready to lead in a dynamic world.

Leaders Discuss the MoU

Md. Sajid Khan who is the Director of ACCA India stated that the partnership will assist in developing globally ready finance professionals possessing robust ethical as well as technical skills.

IIM Trichy's Prof. P. Saravanan reported that this collaboration demonstrates the institute's focus on global excellence and collaborative research in finance and accountancy.
