Registration for the XAT 2027 will commence from 15 July 2026 as informed by the official website of XAT. Conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur, the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is one of the most prestigious MBA entrance examinations and is recognised by XLRI Jamshedpur and over 250 B-schools of India. Apart from the registration date, the date of the examination schedule for XAT 2027 has also been notified.
Students desiring to take the examination need to register early to get their choice of the examination venue.
XAT 2027 Latest Official Update
Those candidates who have registered themselves for the XAT 2027 examination on 15 July 2026 will get their test city of choice. The information regarding the test city will be updated for the candidates by 5 August 2026.

A notification regarding XAT 2027 has been issued by XLRI Jamshedpur and confirms that registrations for XAT 2027 shall commence from 15 July 2026. It is recommended that candidates prepare all their important documents along with their recent passport-size photograph and signature.

How to Fill the XAT 2027 Application Form?
The following is how students can complete their XAT application form.
Step 1 - Online Registration
Go to the official website of XAT and create a new account using your email address and mobile number.
Step 2 - Email Verification
Click on the verification link that has been sent to you at your registered email address. Upon verification of your email address, you will receive your login credentials via email.
Step 3 - Fill out the Application Form
Log in and provide all your personal information, educational qualification and experience details, if any.
Step 4 - XLRI Programs and Test Locations
Select the programs of XLRI that you want to apply for along with the test centres, in order of your preference.
Step 5 - Uploading Documents
Upload your recent photograph and signature in the specified format.
Step 6 - Checking the Application Form
Verify all the information before you press the submit button. The application once submitted cannot be altered in any manner.
Step 7 - Payment of Fees
Make the payment for the application form using the methods of debit card, credit card, UPI and net banking.
Important Instructions for XAT 2027 Registration
Students appearing for graduation in their final year should fill in the marks scored till the last completed semester.
Those opting for a five-year course can have the same percentage for both graduation and post-graduation.
The average marks of all the subjects must be considered rather than just the top-performing ones.
Students having work experience must choose the right category of employment like the Structured Sector, Unstructured Sector or Self-Employed.
XAT 2027 Registration Fee
The XAT 2027 application fees are estimated to be ₹2,200 and for the applicants of XLRI programs, an extra ₹ 200 would be charged for each program according to last year’s fee pattern. Any changes regarding fees would be updated after the release of the application form officially.
