Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar Card / PAN Card / Voter ID / Passport / Driving License)

SET Exam Day Instructions 2026
Following these SET 2026 exam day instructions will help avoid last-minute issues.
Candidates must carry their original ID proof. In the absence of this, they will not be able to write the examination. In case there has been any change in the student’s name, the marriage certificate or any other evidence regarding the name change must be provided. A notarised photocopy must also be presented.
Upon reaching the entrance gate, the student's admit card and ID will be checked. Only the candidate is allowed into the premises and not his/her relatives.
After entry, the student must complete registration and obtain a system number. The candidate will be assigned a particular seat, which he/she must occupy.
When the test begins, the student will not be allowed to leave the hall under any circumstances until the test has ended.
In case of any difficulty, the candidate should raise his/her hand. Help will be provided by the invigilator.
Do not carry electronic items like mobile phones, calculators, watches or smartwatches.
You will get rough sheets for calculations. Write your name and seat number on each sheet and return them after the exam.
The exam centre address will be on your hall ticket. Visit the location a day before the exam to avoid confusion and arrive on time.

Exam Day Don’t
Candidates must not come to the examination center carrying mobile phones, watches, calculators or any other kind of electronic device.
Candidates must not arrive at the examination center late because entry will be barred once the allocated time passes.
Candidates must not carry anything extra with them as there is no facility for storing things at the examination center.
Candidates must not speak or disturb other candidates during the examination.
Candidates must not move out of their seats and from the examination room without the permission of the invigilator.
Candidates must not use any unfair means while writing the examination.
