IIM Jammu Launches 'Rang Tarang', a Four-Day Theatrical Festival

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu launched its highly awaited cultural event, 'Rang Tarang' on July 16 at the Mandapam Auditorium amidst a grand inauguration ceremony performed by Prof. B.S. Sahai, Director of IIM Jammu. The proceedings commenced with the ceremonial lamp lighting, symbolising the essence of creation, learning and celebration. As per a statement released here, 'Rang Tarang' would be a four-day event with a vibrant schedule of 20 events, comprising 16 plays and four dance events led by Padmashri Balwant Thakur, renowned for his creativity, innovation and revolutionary performing arts education. This record level of engagement converts 'Rang Tarang' into IIM Jammu's largest in-house cultural festival.
