April 6th saw the start of the Maharashtra MBA CET exam 2026.  Both the shifts of day one were relatively easy to moderate in difficulty level according to the candidates' reactions. The test didn't contain any tough questions although the length of the exam made it difficult for the exam takers particularly in the LR and Quantitative Aptitude portions.

Following the previous years' exam pattern this year's question paper consisted of 200 questions to be solved within 150 minutes without any negative marking scheme. Therefore, the students who managed to solve the maximum number of questions with speed gained an upper hand.

According to this quick overview of MAH MBA 2026 CET exam Day 1 test was a student-friendly one. The levels of both shifts were easy to moderate and there was nothing unexpected about them. The most important factor for a good score is the speed and the correct selection of the questions that will save time particularly in the long LR section. Candidates who had practised well with mock tests clearly had an edge as many questions were similar in style and difficulty.
