The Kerala Management Aptitude Test is a management entrance exam that is held once a year. The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) in Kerala is in charge of organising the admission exam. It is a gateway for admission to postgraduate courses in Kerala. On 22 February 2026 the KMAT Kerala 2026 exam will be organised. 1. Documents To Be Carried
Aspirants appearing for KMAT Kerala have to make sure that they have all the necessary documents in hand -
The KMAT Kerala admit card will be available only in the printed copy format as no soft copy will be accepted.
A valid government-issued photo ID to serve as proof. Both original and photocopy.
Any one of the following Valid photo ID proofs is accepted and is an important document-
Aadhaar Card
Employee ID
Passport
Driver’s License
PAN Card
Voter ID
Previous college ID
Aspirants also have to make sure that they carry a printout of their KMAT Kerala application form 2026 as it will be required for identification purposes.
2. KMAT Exam Centre Guidelines
Aspirants have to reach the exam hall at least one hour before the exam starts.
If the student is new to the city or doesn’t know the location, they should try to visit the exam centre a day before the exam to avoid confusion or delay.
3. Stationery to be Carried
Students are allowed to carry only the following items -
KMAT admit card
Black or blue ballpoint pen
Eraser
Sharpener
Pencil
Valid ID proof
A blank sheet of paper for rough work can be used only after showing it to the proctor.
4. Instructions on the Exam Day
On the day of the test students must pay attention to the invigilator's instructions.
Before solving the KMAT Kerala question paper, students are required to read all the instructions printed on the question paper.
5. Rest Your Mind
The KMAT Kerala 2026 exam will be conducted in the afternoon. Students are required to give their minds proper rest.
It is not advisable for students to begin studying a new subject on test day. It may create confusion and increase nervousness. Instead, students are required to stay relaxed.
Students are required to get proper eight hours of sleep so that they feel fresh on the day of the exam.
6. Stay Calm
KMAT is a speed-based exam. Students are required to stay calm and composed during the exam.
Students are not required to panic during the exam. It will not help and may only increase nervousness. Try to remain composed and manage your time properly.

Avoid using any electronic device like a calculator, mobile phone, smartwatch, microphone etc. If found using it may lead to immediate disqualification of the students.
Avoid speaking or talking to anyone during the exam.
Avoid focusing too much on a single question. If you are unsure of the question then move to the next question. Time management is very important in KMAT.
Avoid not carrying the KMAT admit card and application form on the day of the exam.
Avoid any kind of malpractice. It will cause the disqualification of the student.
